Welcome to the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center website!

The SCCTC is the main source of Career & Technical Education for all of Susquehanna County and parts of Wyoming County. Our Programs of Study currently include: Automotive Technology, Carpentry & Cabinetmaking, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, Accounting, Administrative Assistant/ Secretarial Science, Cosmetology, Food Management /Production & Services, Health Care Technology, Welding Technology, Vehicle (Small Engine) Maintenance & Repair Technology, Auto body Collision & Repair Technology, Criminal Justice/ Police Science and Cooperative Education/Diversified Occupations. In addition to these high school programs which are also available to adults, in 2013 we added Practical Nurse and Massage Therapy to our adult offerings. We also have an extensive list of adult certification course offerings. We continue to offer the public Automotive Safety Inspection courses; Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting and OSHA training, as well as ServSafe Classes for food service employees. Please check out website for a complete list.

Presently, seven area schools send students to SCCTC programs .These schools include Blue Ridge, Elk Lake, Lackawanna Trail, Montrose Area, Mountain View, Susquehanna Community and Tunkhannock Area High School. After visiting our site, if you are interested in any of our programs, please do not hesitate to call us at 570-278-9229 for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our restaurants, A Touch of Class and "The Serfass Solarium" have a new menu and they are continuing to offer Prime Rib Thursdays once a month. Check under "Community Outreach" for details on menus and restaurant offerings. Our Cosmetology Clinics are held Monday thru Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM and select Saturdays throughout the school year (see the calendar for dates on our web site under "Community”). Please come in and visit us for whatever you might need: haircuts, manicures, pedicures, or other beauty treatments; car work, fine dining. Please call ahead for an appointment to make your visit as efficient as it can be.

In an effort to support career and technology education, I am very involved on both the state and local level in various committees and boards. A list of these accomplishments can be found on the website under my biography. I was also honored to be invited to Washington D.C. to represent the Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technology Administrators to speak on behalf of career and technology education to the U.S. Senate Briefing Committee. I take every opportunity to lobby for financial support of our programs, so that our students can have the best education available and participate on a global level following their educational path.

If there is anything I can do to better meet the needs of this community, please do not hesitate to contact me @ alice.davis@scctc-school.org or 570-278-6783.

Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center would like to recognize Dr. Alice M. Davis as being accepted to the Board of Trustees for Keystone College for the 2016-2019 term.
